How long in between dose increases?

Just a question, how long to wait usually between upping doses? 2 weeks? or a month?

I am on 25mg now, extra 5mg for past 2 weeks, was previously on 20mg for years.... need to get up to 40mg eventually per Doctor.

    When changing dosages, minimum of a month in my experience. If you increase and feel well, stay there. Doesn't matter what the doc says. You know yourself better than annone. How your doc says you gotta get to 40mg is betond me. If you are not struggling on 25mg, stay there.

      Thanks for you reply. I do want to try to get to 30mg.

      I still have anxiety on 25mg, it is better but not where i need to be just yet.

      I was on 20mg for years. I lost my mother a year ago and wasn't coping. I'm hoping that i find the balance again, it's been a difficult 3 months.

      This is new territory for me.

    If you feel like the side effects were not to bad increasing and your anxiety has not changed, i think it would be safe to go to 30mg after 2 weeks. Maybe then stay at 30mg for 4-6 weeks, it could work good for you.. But you should listen to you doctor and go on how your feeling..

    Issue is i still have anxiety and would prefer to use an SSRI instead of benzo's for this that make me super tired, am i expecting too much. I also do CBT.
