How long is too long?

hi can anyone help? i had to finish with my last counsellor because i didn't get the support i needdd off him so, i contacted a rape specialist company to ask for support but that was over 3 months back. how long would you wait before thinking this won't happen. i still need support as this has almost wrecked my marriage. what would you do would you wait much longer? i am currently seeing someone for stress management, but i need help with assault really. sorry if this is distressing or t.m.i, but thanks for reading.
