How long until you can drive with right foot?

It's been 8 weeks, I am not sure of exact terminology, but my right ankle was a dislocated Trimalleolar fracturer with fractured metatarsals as well. I'm nervous as to all I have been reading re: so much pain and problems months down the line.

I don't want to do too much too soon, but on the other hand am I doing enough? Thats the million dollar question.

So how long ( The doctor says once I don't need the boot) can I expect to wait to attempt driving again?

For me it was once the boot came off that the doctor said I could drive. I waited a week or so because I still had some pain. I practiced a few times with my husband in

the car with me until I felt comfortable.

It felt so good to start driving again.
