There's no timescales for any decisions , doesn't matter what they're for. It all depends on the backlog in your area. I will say though that only 20% of MR's are successful so be prepared to take in to Tribunal. Good luck.

yes done in writing and postage cost over £6 so that some one had to sign for it at their end

I've heard that MR's can take upwards of 8 weeks but you can ring and ask what's happening with it. If a decision's been made they'll tell you. If it has been made and you never recieved a letter then it can cause problems with the Tribunal because you only have 1 month from the date of the decision to send in your request for Tribunal.
