How many of us go through the worry of ms, asl due to symptoms ?

So I’m trying to get my head around the fact that my buzzing legs , twitching feet , hot spots and sometimes slurring of words can ACTUALLY be anxiety . My doctor hasn’t done any tests because I apparently show no signs of weakness or anything else other than anxiety . I’m struggling to believe in that a little so I thought it would help to find out in this open community just how many of us have dealt with the same things due to anxiety ?
Maybe it will help all of us to see just how the mind works and let us know we aren’t alone ?

In my 20s I had the buzzing legs buzzing arms, twitches all over, hotspots and slurring of words. Yes It can definitely be anxiety and I thought I had a terrible disease. Doctors see this all the time and they know when something looks serious or not. Still a good idea to have testing done for your peace of mind. The mind is a powerful thing . Anxiety symptoms are very common in the nervous system because anxiety affects that system.
Just to let you know, I am now in my 50s and doing well. My testing came back normal and my doctor told me all of my symptoms are due to stress and anxiety. All of those symptoms I had plus many more did not hurt me they were just scary and weird . Your symptoms are most likely due to anxiety. It’s very important to relax your mind as much as you can and do things that help you to relax. Think of what is causing your anxiety and consider getting counseling. This is very hard to deal with alone.
Listen to some great meditations for anxiety on YouTube.
So to summarize, anxiety and stress can create some extreme symptoms and hundreds of them. Focus on the positive and take one day at a time . Feel better soon 🌸🌸🌸

I took myself to hospital last night as everything I have related in some way to asl/ ms and I scared myself silly . Can’t decide if I need medical scans or a psych ward at this point . I buzz , tingle , hot spots and slur but what I cannot comprehend is how my slurring is only related to sh , ch, st words . Makes me think this time it’s not my anxiety and it’s reaky physical
. It’s so hard to move past it , the doctor said he didn’t feel the need for further testing and assured me my twitch , buzz slurr is all part of Adrenalin . I wish I could move past it . Thanks you again x

I have these types of symptoms and have severe health anxiety and panic attacks. It seems almost every second of the day there is a muscle in my body twitching somewhere. My doctors have run all kinds of test imaginable. Obviously, I encourage anyone having symptoms to ask tell their doctor about it because some cases could be a medical condition. I am seeing a neurologist right now because one of my tests actually did show possible small fiber neuropathy in my legs and feet. I am only 22, so this is uncommon. I have no idea if this is related to my other symptoms or if this is just a coincidence. I suffer from burning feet at night and especially when standing in one spot in the evening (like when brushing my teeth). I still have to have a nerve biopsy in about 30 days to confirm whether it is actual neuropathy. After that, my doctor and I would need to determine what is causing it. None of my blood work has shown any sort of problem, and I've had extensive blood work done even before I found out about my possible neuropathy.

I just want to be clear. I'm sure many of my symptoms are anxiety-related! But this problem seems to have been found in my frantic search to find a diagnosis for my anxiety symptoms.
