How painful is the trial lead placement.

Hello, I may have to try a stimulator. Can anyone tell me how painfull it was to have the leads inserted for the trial. Seems you have to be awake to tell the Doctor how well the location of the leads is working.

Not at all painful.  You are sedated.  My back pain was much worse. Good luck

Yes, I do have a Nevro Stimulator & I have no intention of having it removed I had it placed June 22nd.  It's not perfect but much better then having the pain. I had failed back surgery and several epidurals which did not help.  My pain level was 9-10 continually. With the Stimulator, it is about 7-8 and it is still a work in progress. With the test trial my pain level was decreased by 50-70%.  Nothing is perfect but this is pretty good. I would suggest you research what Stimulator your Doctor wants to implant. Some, are more successful then others. It all depends on how much you hurt. Good luck!

Thanks, I have read that the battery for the nevro has square corners that are uncomfortable, and that the battery used to get hot. Do you have any of these problems.
