How stupid is this

I was granted ESA in January this was to replace the old incapacity benefit, fine so far, then I had my PIP home assessment, which I'm still waiting for. Last week I receive a form to fill in for ESA, ok I'll do that, rang them up and asked why I have to answer the same questions that are covered by PIP. Oh it's different benefit, ok after 25 years on the highest rate mobility and middle rate of care. Fine I'll fill that form in and stick it in the post. The ridiculous thing, which would be funny if it wasn't so stupid , I received a letter telling me that my ESA was granted till November of 2017 and I haven't sent the form back yet. How much money is it costing the government to put this in place? what a ridculous waste of taxpayers’ money. Much respect for Ian Duncan Smith for quitting saying he wasn't willing to penalise disabled people.

As stated previously ESA and PIP are 2 completely different benefits with different criteria. If you don't fill in the ESA50 form and return it your money will most likely stop. I was reviewed for ESA and PIP last year and both forms arrived almost together.
