How to change time of sert intake

Posted , 5 users are following.

Hi all!

I would like to try to change my time intake.

Last weekend I took my sertraline at night, then monday around 6pm, tuesday and wednesday around 3h30 and today at 1pm.

Is it too fast???

If it is, how should I proceed?

Thanks

Sounds about how I would do it. I personally think Your about right on point from what I see and hear from others. If you feel like it’s working for you with minimal issues then it probably is. Good luck

On what dosage are you, and how many weeks are you in?

Im kind of struggling with dosage.

Ive been on it for 6 weeks

      Week 1 at 25mg

      Week 2 to 4 at 50mg

Week 5 down to 25 mg cause hated the anxiety, shaking, stone feeling

Week 6 increased between 25 and 50 mg cause felt more anxiety at 25mg.

I had a good weekend but since monday, Im starting to feel more shaky, anxious, headaches almost all day long and the weird thing is that I feel soooo hot in face, neck and thorax. My temperature is limit to do fever... Dont know wath to think and if it due to something bad????

It sounds quite reasonable to me though I jumped from night to morning in one go as I was struggling to sleep. If it works for you and your not having any problems then I wouldn't worry about it.

I asked my pharmacist about switching from 09:00 to 21:00. I take 50mg Sert.

She told me as it was a small dose it would be ok as a 'one off' to take my morning dose, then take another dose 'late in the evening' say 23:00.

If you are on a higher dose I would be wary, but your dose is small ...

    Hope that helps x

      Im also at 50mg.

How are you doing at that dose?

How long have you been on it?

I suppose you also had side effects at first...

      Thanks for your reply

I have been on 50mg for over 12 weeks now. My depression has completely lifted, and anxiety levels much better, however, I still have this 'morning dread' feeling. By the evening I generally feel absolutely fine.

I spoke to my GP a couple of days ago, and am to go up to 75mg.

Yes, I had all the awful start up side effects :-(

    Hoping for you x

I asked you cause I went back to 50mg and feel shaky inside and not so well.

Been on zoloft for 6 weeks but 50 from the second to 5th week and back to 25 now just back to 50. And not sure if its worth it.

Still anxiety, shaky, headaches, some dizzyness few hours after I have taken my med and hotness in face .
