Hello friends

2 weeks ago i stopped into the doctors to have an appointment for bloodpressure - it is high 150/100 the doctor decided not to treat me because i can work on it myself he also ordered the following tests

1x blood test [didnt tell me whats its for]

1x 24 hour unrine test [didnt tell me whats its for]

1x ecg [pretty self explan i guess]

anywho today now i phoned for my results of the blood/urine tests as the ecg came back normal. all the receptionist would tell me is that the doctor would like me to keep my appointment for 9 days time to discuss results

this has sent me into overdrive i litrally can't controll how anxious i am and i can't stop crying or worrying. I don't know how to cope

Hi first off you don't say how old you are, I'm guessing that you are not elderly though going by your post.

To be honest your blood tests are probably basic levels for anaemia etc so nothing going to show anything really drastic their, your ECG was fine so nothing to worry about their but I'm going to guess that its possible you are carrying a little bit of extra weight, once you verify or deny thst I think I might be able to guess reason for the results, either way it's going to be nothing to cause any major worries so chill because that's possibley why you're BP was raised, mine climbs to the ceiling when I'm anxious

That's exactly what I was expecting as it's definitely a reversable result please don't worry about it, if I was your advicer I would suggest you change your diet, take up exercise and refrain from certain food types, this will lower your BP and your cholesterol at the same time and because of your age you can do it easily with good support

Anxiety is a terrible thing and I'm so glad your GP is on the ball by seeing you suffer with it and called you so it shortens the time you have to struggle

Are you feeling better now 🤔🙄☺️
