HOW TO CURE ANAL FISSURE QUICKLY...

Hi Everyone - I can tell you how to cure Anal Fissure's quickly...

Firstly, my experience was horrible just like everyone else. I have read that it can be more painful than childbirth! Mine started from an overly large bowel movement that ripped me in 3 places. The pain was so bad that i passed out on my bathroom floor with blood and feecies hanging out of me when i woke up. The doctor gave me suppositories and anasthetic cream but nothing was working. I have concucted a reigime that has cured it in nearly three days. When i read on forums that it can take a few weeks i said to my self 'There is no way im living with this pain for that long'! EVERYTHING HURTS.... Sneezing, Laughing, Coughing, Walking, Sitting, Lying down... the list goes on... follow these steps and it cleared up 3 days.

1. Your going to need a few things from the shop - The first is Anusol Cream (despite people saying its not as good as preperation H and other stuff its has worked wonders for this reigime and is designed for anal fissures and hemeroids. The second is COCONUT OIL (MAGIC STUFF).... Anchient chinese cultures still use this to heal wounds of all kinds and this really was the turn around stuff for me. Thirdly... Ibuprofen for temporary pain relief and lastly Dulcolax tablets... I will show you how to use all these products for a quick repair in a minute...

2. Psychology ... DO NOT sit at home and wollow in pain and sadness. Go to work, see your friends, live a normal life but be careful. Positive mentality keeps you relaxed and promotes healing. When i was at work i barely felt any pain because i was so distracted, but when i was at home it was constant pain. Make sure you do this, im certain this has really helped. Also do not be affraid to tell people exactly whats wrong with you, i have found great amusment talking to people about it and 6/7 of the people i spoke to had been sufferers too, its nice to know your not the only one and you can see them well and happy!

Here is my reigime that saved me:

1. The night before take 1-2 of the Dulcolax, it doesnt kick in until the morning but you need this so you dont damage yourself further. It is not a laxative it makes it all soft and squidgy and it just falls outta you. Minimal pain.

2. In the morning your gonna need to have a bowel movement, before you do. Run a bath and put a few table spoons of cocnut oil in it. (hot bath), then have your bowel movement. Mine was too painful to wipe so as soon as i finished i hopped in the bath and the water IMMEDIATELY relives the pain (BLISS).. and the coconut oil moisturises and heals. Stay in there for a good 10-20 minutes and then i promise you it wont be hurting as much now so now you can apply the anusol cream.

3. Before you head off to work or start your day, take 2 ibuprofen. After all this, it will sting a little but by day 3 you can barely feel anything.

4. Make sure you take your ibuprofen after breakfast, lunch and dinner. I had high fibre cereal for breakfast, water all day normal lunch and whatever for dinner.

5. Make sure you re-apply cream if you have a bowel movement during the day. I tried to just have one in the morning so i could not aggrovate my anus too much.

6. After dinner, take your ibuprofen, run a bath with coconut oil and just sit and relax for as long as you can (make sure you put NOTHING in your bath except the cocnut oil as soaps and stuff can dry you out and make it worse).

7. Before bed, take your dulcolax again drink plenty of water and get good nights sleep.

This regime has fixed me in 2 1/2 days pretty much which i found amazing (i think it was the cocnut oil, which stings like a bitch but is AMAZING, i doesnt numb pain but it promotes healing). I am so pleased to be living a normal life again so quickly as i thought i would never be the same again. It is really important you dont fester at home doing nothing as it will only make it worse, go out, see the world and forget that its there.

Hope this helps people as it has really helped me and i wanted to share this with others.

Hope you all feel better soon! Keep smiling and never give up!!

Peace & Love

Careful re coconut oil - I wanted to try it & got a jar from Holland & Barrett - but it's hard like candle wax so not very useable.  So be careful that you get runny oil & not whatever it is that I've got.

Re jeans - no, not at all comfortable.  When mine's playing up, I wear skirts all the time.  I went to a (non mounted) equestrian event...every single other person was wearing jeans/similar & I was the only one in a skirt but there was no way on this earth I was travelling in the car & then sitting down at the event in jeans.  I can tell that I'm getting towards the end of a healing cycle when I can face jeans.  We are nearly there atm...wore jeans 2 weeks ago, but then I had to go to a stupid breakfast seminar which disrupted my routine of laxative powders/toilet, so I've had a minor relapse.  Think we're nearly back on track, touch wood...

    Hi Morris -

I was looking desperately for help for my son when I ran across the patient.info site and found your very helpful letter.

The coconut oil helped a lot. But I grow herbs so I squashed some calendula leaves and flower with some inner leaves of a cabbage (both fabulous healders) along with some jell from a split aloe vera leaf and got him to apply that on his butt after a butt soak in hot water with salt and coconut oil, which seems to give him a lot of relief.

The final remedy comes from a tablet we found on the net called Hemtab. Absolutely cures the problem!!!

    hi morris,

thank you for this post...  and for everyone else's great feedback.....  i have suffered with hemoroids since i was a teenager... a few months back i had a little battle with constipation.. im guessing that is where it all began.. for the past 3 months i have been going to the doctor for some really bad pain after bm's and being told that this is a hemoroid.  i had the rubber bands done numerous times and i guess that helped but  I KNOW that this pain is not what i have ever experienced before... i just had another visit to the doctor and he told me all my signs do sound like a fisser and he is unable to see because i have to internal hemoroids and the tear may be between them... he just perscribed me a cream and told me to use after bowel movement and at night..he told me in 2 weeks if this does not help he will put me under anesthesia to check it out and fix it....  im really scared and dont want to have this done.     he mentioned something about botox...

so after reading everyone's comments on this post... i just ran out..got my perscription cream that had to be mixed from a compound center...and bought coconut oil and am prepared to see what happens......    i am on day 1 and this morning had a bm and of course am now in pain.... i rubbed my perscription cream this morning....now i just took a bath with the oil and sat in there for 10 minutes..rubbed a glob of coconut oil on my anus....  i am going to wait a few hours and reapply another blob of coconut oil......   i will keep everyone posted on my progress....   i am planning on drinking LOTS of water!

be back later tonight...  with hopefully good news.

    Hi

I just wanted to add my story to this discussion in case anyone has been in the same or a simular situation to me.

Before Christmas I spent a weekend at my boyfriends where he lives with his family consisting of 8 people living in one house with 2 bathrooms.  I had the urge to go to the toilet in the middle of the night but stopped myself because I was scared his family would hear and I was embarassed.  This then caused what I would describe as the worst 4 months of my life.

Because I stopped myself this then gave me constipation and I was scared to go to the toilet at work in case people would hear. This then caused straining and I then had my fissure back. I have suffered with them twice before, but after being given Movicol, it would always cure itself after 7-14 days.  This time, it was here to stay. It got worse and worse with the pain becoming unbearable.  I tried probably every single you could think of.  I spent hours on the internet researching.  I tried Movicol again but this has now stopped working on me in the way that it should.  I tried various laxitives.  I then came accross this article and following it to the letter, and i thought it was working but then the laxitives stopped working and i found myself in an even worse position. To the point where i would be on the toilet crying and willing the pain to stop.  I didnt want to go out, i didnt want to eat because I knew it had to come out, i was becoming seriously depressed.

My boyfriend had been telling me to go to the doctors for months, but I had been so scared as I thought they would tell me I needed surgery.

My message to anyone reading this that is going through what i went through GO TO THE DOCTORS.  They prescribed me Fybergel and Anusol HC cream. He didn't examine me.  I took the Fybergel 2 times a day (a sachet of "dusty stuff" you mix with water, tastes awful) and I applied the cream morning and night.  Within 7 days, my fissure had gone.  I am now moving my bowels once a day with 0 pain.

I have learnt not to worry about anyone hearing my whilst I am in the toilet as this is the most natural things our bodies do and EVERYBODY DOES IT! I will never let myself get into that position again.

I am taking 1 sachet of Fybergel a day and have stopped using the cream.

I urge you to go to the doctors and ask for Fybergel, i thought because I had my fissure for 4 months it would be a severe case and need surgery but turns out i didnt, so go and get yourself sorted out and you will feel like a new person.

    I feel happy again smile

Thank you so much for this post. I have been dealing with this for over 10 years now. At first I was embarrassed to go to doctor, now I have no health insurance, so going to the Dr. isn't an option. I bleed for several hours after every bm, an in pain for so long afterward that I sometimes go days without having a bm, just to avoid the pain, and I have a skin tag that has been there for the full 10 years. I appreciate this thread, as I finally started researching this just yesterday. We use coconut oil religiously in our house, but have never tried using it "down there". Will have to try that, as I'm dealing with another bad one.

My only one concern would be that ibuprofen is a blood thinner. I use Tylenol to avoid thinning the blood, thus extending the bleeding. Again, I am so glad to see so much about this on the internet. I finally know what it is, now I just need to figure out how to deal with it...

    Hello fellow sufferes,

I am glad to find this thread and see that it is still active.

Briefly, I find myself in this conversatin following emergency appendectomy surgery which resulted in a Right Hemicolectomy - removal of half of my large bowel.  This was due to finding a large mass in my bowel which thank God was not cancer, but massive inflammation and infection.

During the recovry a Fistula formed and I had feces coming out of my incision wound which created all kinds of complications, leaving me with an open wound which has been healing since December 2014.  There is no longer fecal matter, but the wound is still open.

During this period, since December I was on a lot of pain medicine - Tramadol - and found myself severly constipated about 4-5 weeks ago.

This led to sever pain, which I thought was a reoccurance of hemmoroids which I had had surgery for over a year ago for.  But the pain has gotten worse and worse to it being unbearable at times, leaving me to just sit and sob, and feel my will slowly slipping away.

I am so glad to find this forum - but so scared to see that not only have some of you suffered for so long, but on repeat occassions as well.

I am currently having to give mysel 2 foam enemas daily (prednisolone) and have been given a cream called Diltiazem hydrochloride which I am meant to put inside my rectom twice daily.  I am in so much pain - I dread both of these activities - I am literally scared to touch anything it is so painful.

How do you cope???  I have always considered myself to have an incredibly high tolerance for pain. To give you an idea,  In 1979 I broke both of my knees - tore all the ligaments - and still dragged myself to work the next day on crutches putting up with the pain expecting it to get better.  Now, as an adult, I also have Fibromyalgia, Osteoarthrtis and Cervical Spondylosis - all chronic pain conditions, so pars of me hurt nearly every single day and have for years.  And I cope.

But this - THIS - this pain is making me lose the will - I am depressed - i jut do not know how to cope with it - and the thought it could go on for months - that scares me - I do not know that I could carry on.

Feeling so worn down, tired, old, sick, and scared.  i don't know what to do.  sad

    Hello All,

Firstly, thank you for this amazing Forum its a great way to help your fellow sufferer. Well, I want to share my little story or rather long of how I got rid of my pain and suffering, its is a long long process and basically, I guess I have tired almost everything and this is basically what worked on me.

Firstly, I am a young 24 year old, who did not even knew about anal fissures and hemorrhoids since few months back. Around 4 months ago, I did suffer from a very mentally unstable period because of personal issues, and yeah irregular excercise did not help aswell. I think my body took the toll finally and I got my first ever hemorrhoids (constipation ofcourse). Now firstly ,most people are confused whether its hemorrhoids or anal fissure at first. After reasearch, I found out that, if its anal fissures the pain comes up only after a bowel movement which last for about few hours depending on the intensity of your condition. However, Hemorrhoids you are basically in pain all the time. So, my first Hemorrhoids experience took over my life basically, I could not sleep without hot water bag and strong painkillers 3 times a day. I started with nitroglycerin ointment along with suppository, but it did not help much, so I ended up going to a hemopathy doctor. Well, he basically gave me these bitter medicines and told me to change my lifestyle and diet completely.

Well a week in hemopathy diet along with ointment, however still no major improvement in pain. Hence, I figured in order for hemorrhoids to heal I need to soften my stool. Next, along with hempothy treatment I started taking dulcolax at night and it worked like a charm. Withing next one week with all the diet control ,hemopathy medicines and dulcolax, I got rid of my hemorrhoids.

However, life had more painful plans for me , I like everyone else stopped my treatment and went back to my old lifestyle. Hence, around 2 months ago again I got constipated followed by bloody stool and this time no hemorrhoids but worst its anal fissures. Now, I say worst because, the pain is like poking needles and no kidding on that. So,Firstly I started using my old ointment and dulcolax treatment which to my shock became ineffective on me for some reason. So, I figured it could be because of too much usage of these medicine. Hence, I started trying different ointment and had no success at all. The pain got so worst and unbearable that I could not sit for prolonged periods and perfered to stay in bed and oh almost gave up on food.

So I stopped being my own doctor and finally went to a general surgeon. For next one week he put me on antibotics along with idocaine ointment and I, followed his guideline strictly. My diet consisted of alot of water , fruits for snacks, whole meal torilla/bread with my choice of vegetable not spiced at all and yeah prune juice and dried figs (they help). However, after all this precautions and medication I was still miserable and in alot of pain.

A week after, I went to the doctor again for a follow up and I told him I am still in pain. He told me, If nothing is working then the last option would be surgery or laser. However, I did not want to go through all such things. So, he changed my medication completely and gave me a different set of stronger antibotics and pain killer and told me to have sitz bath with salt after every bowel movement.Furthermore, he told me to take dulcolax again with increased dosage.Hence, during the following week I did see around 20 percent improvement in my condition, but the stronger medication caused me alot of mood swings and stomach crapping and complete lost of appetite.

After, I finished another course of my prescribed antibotics, I felt a bit better. However, not completely healed and still the bowel movements were a nightmare.

So finally, I basically just stopped all the medication and laxatives and stuff and decided to eradicate the root of anal fissures forever. I firstly, observed that I had pain while bowel movement because the intial stool was still hard and it opened up the fissure cut all over again, so the only way to avoid the cut from opening again was to go back to suppository which basically breaks down the stool for your.In my daily routine, I started using Suppository. Suppository usually work within an hour for me ,so I use it early morning along with idocaine ointment. After freshening up, I do hot water sitz to avoid afterwards painful spasm for 10 minutes, followed by hot water shower. After breakfast, I take my painkiller and psyllium husk, so that I can be pain free at work.

So, far I have been following this routine for around a week with continued change in lifestyle and diet and it has been 3 days since I haven't had any kind of pain and I feel completely cured.

So, to sumarize it all anal fissure was the most painful experience, but it also forced me to change my lifestyle and diet completely and along the process , I also lost around 3 to 4 kilos. Hence, I strongly advise, all to keep constipation at bay through healthy eating and happy living.

Hope it heped.Feel free to ask any questions.

    Regards

I just wanted to share something that I tried earlier today. It is a temporary relief, but lasts for a while when someone is in a hurry. I used Monistat cream that I already had and it felt very soothing. I hope it helps you also!

hi morris, thank you for this post. honestly.. i m in pain; evn now as i write. i dint knew what to do about it. when i pass hard stool i bleed. fresh 7 to 8 drops of blood. this suffering is going on for the last 4 to 5months . it all started one day wen i had severe constipation all of a sudden and i was in a hurry and i gave utmost pressure because i was running late. that day i had pain.next day when i went to toilet i had severe pain ..much more than the previous day. then i searched net saw about sitz bath and hydrocortisone cream.i applied .got relief .but after a few weeks they were back again. now i experience pain evn i pass soft stool.when my sphicters open up i feel pain. i feel frustrated and helpless. whole day and night if i think about anything is my pain during bm. i just keep on praying that i dnt have constipation or voluminous stool. if i eat something i think a 100 times whether it will give me hard stools. i feel like as if i m left in this earth only with fear of going to toilet and the pain. its affecting my work .

but accidently i came across this discussion and i m so happy about it. i had never heard about the coconut oil treatment. never came across this in net. i m going out to the store aftr writing to purchase all that u have mentioned. but i think i will skip ibuprofen . i will give update about my progress . thanx to u again for this regime. i just hope i get relieved from this conservative treatment and not have to go under surgery. i cannot do surgery :'(

thanx again. wish u heath and luck.
