i had a THR 12 days ago & have to wear surgical stockings for a month. They are driving me nuts at tines. So itchy. I think it is a heat rash rather than an allergy. Any tips on how to relieve the itching?

They drove me nuts too. The itching and dry skin were terrible. The only thing that saved me from scratching my legs raw was body lotion. I wore mine the entire 4 weeks except when I took a shower. When I was told I didn't have to wear them anymore I went home and took them off first thing!
I didn't have to do the blood thinner shots, just an aspirin 2x a day. I hate needles, told the surgeon that before surgery.
