When it comes to other vitamins, not really necessary. If you have a decent diet with lots of coloured veggies you will get vit C etc. Vit B comes from cereals and meat. As one lady on the forum says - the main effect of vit supplements is to create very expensive pee as you flush it and them down the loo!
Have you had your vit D level checked? Some doctors do check vit B group every so often but more often it is only if you have appropriate symptoms.
Anhaga recommends vit K2 as a protective against osteoporosis - but it is pretty expensive as a supplement. It is found naturally in fermented foods - suaerkraut and kefir amonst others that are fairly easy to find these days.

I couldn't take Alendronic Acid and my bones had to rely on Calceos (calcium+ Vit. D ) for my 8 years on Pred. Doesn't prove that they gave me my "amazing bone density for my age " , I know, but they certainly did no harm.

Have to add, those of us on extra calcium need to make sure our magnesium levels are kept up, because extra calcium can cause that delicate balance to go out of kilter. And as magnesium is, with Vitamin K2, something that helps calcium get into the bones, we need it. It's in lots of foods, and can also be obtained from a nice long soak in a tub (or even footbath) containing epsom salts.
Sources of Vitamin K2 also include animal products from animals that have been grassfed, and never grainfed. That's apparently how we used to get most of our vitamin K2 in days gone by. Also we can make a little in our own gut, but not enough. The source for the supplements is natto, a fermented soy used in part of Japan, where the rate of osteoporosis is significantly lower than in the part where people don't eat natto, leading researchers to discover its usefulness as a super food.
