Yes, it is - what you need to think carefully about is if you use a mechanical device, or try 'Natural Penis Enhancement' or development is you could end up causing injury to your penis. I have tried most of these because of shrinkage issues related to a severe penile skin condition, and unless you do them pretty much everyday, or use a regular combination, any size gain can be relatively temporary.
One explanation I saw was that at least half of the penile shaft is inside the body, what many of the 'natural' methods use - and some of these date back 1,000's of years (e.g. Tantracism) - is to 'encourage' the inner shaft to become part of the external shaft. If you can find a completely safe way of doing this it is not an overnight thing and you probably would not notice any real difference in length for in-excess of 12 months, that is if you do not injure you penis. Girth increase can be much easier to achieve, but again is reliant on regular safe means of development being in place.
Depending on the level of injury means you would need to abstain from further enlargement and often means you cannot have sex or masturbate either, for anywhere upwards of 3 weeks, even 3 or 4 months is not unusual. I have frequently had to abstain and one inadvertent injury I had meant I had quite severe pain for way in excess of 6 months making masturbation, certainly, quite a painful process.
So, certainly a few things to think about ......

Can you elaborate on the injury thing with regards to enlargement, and how you had to abstain from sex, masturbation as a result. Like what kind of injury, how that happens. What kind of pain do you get. Just curious about it.

The most common injury is that small blood vessels in the head of the penis leak blood and causes a bleeb under the surface of the skin, eventually this will heal of course, but this can take upwards of three weeks. There are two approaches to healing, just let it get on with it itself, or lance immediately to draw off the blood - but then you have punctured skin and you need to prevent infection.
So it is mainly pain that prevents sex and masturbation and the possibility that you will damage the damaged blood vessel, or any others in the same area that are likewise damaged. I found the best approach was to back-off completely and let the natural healing process take place and to make sure I prevented infection.
These blood leaks that then swell up into bleebs can also happen on the main shaft and these are quite painful too, and the approach I have taken with these is to let them heal themselves.
Injury occurs because too much pressure is applied, either manually using one of the natural methods or with a penis pump / developer. The natural methods are about encouraging blood flow in the penis and the immediate effect you get is that the head of the penis looks bigger almost immediately. But as I have mentioned, you have to do this very regularly or the size gain is very temporary - so the trick, if you like, is to achieve size change while avoiding injury and most often this is damaged blood vessels. I have had times when the nature of the injury meant I could not sustain the development exercises for 3 months plus at a time and during this time all size gain has been lost and you are basically starting from scratch again .....
