How to juggle multiple health issues?

I have a variety of different health issues some which impact me more than others, and recently it has taken a bigger toll on me and my mental health.

Physical:

I am allergic to certain animals and food (no anaphylaxis), have atopic eczema, asthma, acid reflux, joint pain suffer breakouts from severe acne, take antihistamines to prevent hives.

Prescription supplements to gain weight and recently have to take Paracetamol to stop wisdom tooth pain.

Mental:

Diagnosis of mild aspergers

Sertraline for anxiety

The chemists know me as I'm almost always in there every 1-2 weeks.

I just have so many different things and keep making appointments and I want to keep top on things but I feel like it is hard to enjoy things in life outside managing these things and working. Especially during Covid.

Do I just have to tackle one thing at a time? Any way I can make things more manageable and what things could help?

hi ollman. i know sort of what you mean, i am not very good with my mental health and also physical health problems too. i have really terrible health anxiety, or so i've been told. your mental health will be worsened by your physical health and vice versa. you need to decide for yourself which one is worse, the sertraline could be adding to your health problems, your anxiety definitely will. once your mental health is better than it is now your physical health will pick up. try mindfulness for the anxiety and stress, try to see about cutting your antidepressants and work out why you're taking food supplements, you could ask to have a phonecall off a dietitian, that might help you. you do what is right for your health, if nobody likes that then tough! i hope something works for you.

You could tackle things one at a time, half the things you said can be solved with medication, the other half of things is something you have to solve yourself. Perhaps you could see a therapist/counsellor.
