I had spinal surgery. Never right afterwards. Then pulmonary embolisms. On warfarin for life. Been treated as if i have mental, health but having tried many anti depressants they make me worse and had to stop.  Gradually pain in leg when walking and feels, like jumping nerves up calf, bladder disorder also seems neurological as is intermittent and mainly when waking frequency. Head is notmfeeling right, cant do normal, tasks like cook and clean and cant read a book.  Brain just feels not right.  All theyngive me is benzo and say i am anxious.  My mother died of brain tumor in cerebellum, i think theres something wrong with my nervous system but cant get dr to take me seriously.  It has been four years now and all i have not seen a neurology specialist.  It seems you need tombe very ill before you can be referred.  What can i do?

Hi Ann i was going to pm you but  you always seen ok when you talk to me when really you are suffering is that because of all the things that i have been you you do not want to upset me, and i know the biggest thing was my brain tumour, and though i am fine now, do not get me wrong when i have a really bad migraine sometimes i wonder but then i know i have been cleared and if i have any concerns see my neurologist , i do not think its all in your head what your feeling is probably real but where its not in one place it gets confusing, if your talking one minute about your leg and calf, and bladder disorder, then you say your head does not feel right then the dr, may feel that you are getting worked up but if you are having intermittent leg pains then it is hard to say ,best bet is to take yourself straight to er with your concerns and see if they can help, but you may be worrying unnecessary about your head and brain because of your mum, bless her, and you think it could be happening to you, the more you worry the more your head hurts and i know, if it was not for my severe migraines then i would never have found out about my tumour, but believe me you would know if you had something really bad with your head, but if you do go to er just ask some questions, doctors are great they are there to help with your concerns ,and if they thought you had anything the slightest bit wrong with your head they would be taking you in for tests, hope this put your mind as ease hun xxxbiggrin
