Hi all I am just over five and a half weeks on 50mg...I have seen some improvements...I was thinking most of the side effects had gone but last few days feel foggy headed in the mornings....also as there has only been a few improvements should I ask the gp to increase my dose or stick it out to at least eight weeks ?

this is a really good question. ive had the same one. im weighing whether its worth it to increase the dose and start over with the side effects -- or if i should just be happy with the incremental improvement of 25mg. i feel somewhat less anxious but still worry from time to time.

    Hello

I would give it a little more time upto 8 weeks which is very frustrating I know. The fact you have seen improvements shows med is working.

It took 13 weeks for 50mg to work for me but that was the right dose and I stayed on this for 12 months now on 12.5mg.

Everyone is different and reacts differently speak to your GP ( if you have faith in her/him).

Whatever your decision I wish you well in your journey to happiness - you will get there !

Another vote for waiting at least to week 8, possibly a bit longer, to see if improvements become steadier. To each their own but I generally get the sense that doctors always increase doses so swiftly without giving the medication time to settle and do its job.
