How to manage labrum degeneration and leg length discrepancy ?

Posted , 1 user is following.

I'm a 30-year old active male.

About 6 months ago a started having pain in my left hip.

An MRI showed some slight degeneration in the labrum, and an X-ray showed that my right leg is ~0.9 inches shorter than the left.

Does anyone have advice on good ways to manage? Should I use sole inserts (if so, which are the best)?

Should I stop sports such as rock climbing and snowboarding?

How effective is physical therapy?
