how to tackle with withdrawl symptoms of paroxetine

ive tried coming off of paroxetine 3 times but after 15 days it becomes unbearble i start vomiting,get insomnia and have this burning pain in my head with spells of crying im on 25 mg,how do I quit it?my friends and family keep telling me to stop taking my meds but i cant function without them and i remember how i was without them,it was terrible just like the withdrawl symptoms how did I quit?????????????

    Hi I came of also. I lasted 5 weeks.i was so sick without them the withdrawls were horrific.my depression got so so bad.i went back on them but I'm only taking 1/2 a tablet and I feel so much better

    You must taper slowly. Cut your dose by 10% drops each time and stay there at New dose until all symptoms have gone. I personally went from 20mg-10mg with minimal problems, but dropping from 10-5 took about 2 months to stabilise. I'm now on 4.2 mg and can only drop by 0.2 mg at a time now or else the side effects are unbearableĀ

      Hi Donna been on Paxil around 12 years..I went from 7mg to 5mg because i got excited that I was getting off.. Im paying for it now.. Im holding at 5mg.. Been a month of waves.. Stomach , weakness, flu like symptoms.. Im hoping this second month that it will be getting better. Any advice? Thx

    Been on 20mg paroxetine for 17 years, halved my dose four days ago and not slept since. My wife was on them for about a year and came off using the liquid, but doctors are loathe to prescribe it as it costs a lot more than the tablets.

    Hi everyone. I'm a member of a really supportive Facebook group called Paroxetine Paxil Seroxat SSRI withdrawal. It's full of good people and everyone is trying to taper. The main things that I've learned from the group are to definitely get liquid to taper and to go slow (we advocate 5-10% drops) come find us
