Fatty liver is associated with high sugar consumption more than high fat consumption.  Watch your sugars and don't sweat the fats.

High fructose corn syrup is the worst offender, and sodas are often the largest dietary source of this.  Fruit juice is also incredibly high in fructose, which is a primary cause of fatty liver.  Polyunsaturated fats in vegetable oils are also unwise.  Deep fried foods are a common source of this.

Drink tea, ice tea or coffee (unsweetened of course!) instead of sodas or fruit juice.  Eliminate simple sugars and the liver will take care of itself.  Tea & coffee have both been shown to be remarkable liver tonics.

The "PIVENS trial" showed Natural Vitamin-E to be better than the pharmaceutical they tested it against in resolving fatty liver.

A 30 day trial eliminating all sodas and sweetened drinks, along with deep fried foods; and increasing tea & coffee consumption, with modest supplementation of Vitamin-E would be an interesting experiment to try.  Get liver enzymes tested after 30 days on this and compare them to previous labs.  I bet you'll see a dramatic difference.

    Best of Luck!

Would also add that you should leave at least an hour or two after taking vitamins/supplements before coffee as it can reduce supplement effectiveness...also..if you are a decaf drinker...organic Swiss water decafe is best.

I started vitamin e in October alongside a liver friendly diet ...krill oil..vit c .cytoplan antioxidant supplement and milk thistle whilst losing 1 to 2 lb a week.....bloods in march again so will see if it has helped
