How to safely stop Propranolol

Hello, I've been on 60mg of propranolol er for 3 months now. i was diagnosed with Hashimotos and Graves Disease and was put on propranolol to control my heart rate. after 3 months of treatment my T3 and T4 levels are finally back to normal and so is my heart rate. My endocrinologist told me I could stop the propranolol if I wanted. She told me i could just quit cold turkey but Im scared as ive read that youre not supposed to just stop? any tips or advice from anyone who has been through something similar would be greatly appreciated. i want to be off it asap. im exhausted all the time on it.
