hi. ive been on mirtazapine soltab 15mg for 3 years and 1 month already. planning to be off them soon but i havent found a post regarding tapering specifically for the soltab version. any help would be very much appreciated. thanks 😃

I am off Mirtazapine for 2 weeks now.
I was on 15 mg for about a year.
I took 15 mg tablets but one of the perscriptions was the tab that melts in your mouth. I think thats what you are referring to. You can break those tablets in half..
I jumped from 15 to 7.5 in one go.
This was very tough and if i was to do it again id alternate between 15 and 7.5 each night for a few weeks before settling on 7.5. I was on 7.5 for about 6 weeks. Then 7.5 every second night for about a month. Then 7.5 every third night for a few weeks before stopping completely.
This worked well for me. The worst drop was from 15 to 7.5 as stated.
