How to treat this type of bacterial urethritis after antibiotics?

I am a 23 year old male, with chronic lyme disease (misdiagnosed for years). I've been taking azithromycin 500 mg daily, doxycycline intermittently (100 mg bid) and rifampin 600 mg daily for the last 6 months. I am 85% recovered and continue to improve everyday. However, a month ago i masturbated and ejaculated into my underpants and didn't change them for a day, after which i noticed burning and painful discomfort in my urethra and around the genital area.

I went and did a urethral swab and the lab identified Staphilococcus Epidermidis. Ultrasound of the prostate gland didn't identify prostatitis, all clear.

When i take doxycycline or rifampin (for lyme bacteria), i feel as if the antibiotics are doing their job against the staph infection, yet they can't completely eradicate it. It seems the staph infection is resistant to them. I've been prescribed ciprofloxacin, however i'm reluctant to take it because of the tendon breakage and other issues, so i haven't taken it.

What can be done in this case? Should i do a urine culture and use other drugs? I still need to continue taking azithromycin and rifampin for lyme and can't skip taking those, as they are helping.
