How to wash hands thoroughly on this med?

Hi all,

I know it's a random thing to ask but since starting Orlistat 2 days ago I've found that when I have the oil come out in the loo it manages to get on my hands and I wash them as much as I can and even use an anti bacterial gel but I still smell the foul oil!! It's disgusting and I'm paranoid that they aren't clean. Anyone else had this or know how to get rid of it?

Thank you smile

If you follow the fat rule and stay below 5g if fat per 100g no more than 15g per meal you won't get oil. You only get side effects if you're eating too much fat. You loss will be slow if you're going over your fat allowance.

Thank you, I've only just started this, on day 5 and waiting to hear back from a dietician to help as I'm useless with all that also with underactive thyroid I need to avoid certain things! Hopefully I'll manage to lose as well as you have!

Try something that would cut through oil/grease something with lemon in maybe?

Great idea! Thank you, I've used a face wash of mine that's citrus and it's done the job, you're a star!

Washing up liquid will probably work too! Save on your face wash! smile

That's a point! Might have to put some in an empty soap bottle so visitors aren't wondering why I have washing up liqiud in the bathroom haha!! What an awkward conversation that would be!! lolredface
