Hpv after sex ?

i slept with the same guy last year that gave me hpv ten years ago . ( hes an ex ) i had all the std checks and a normal pap result 10 months later . my question is can i consider myself clear ? we used protection and it was a very quick encounter but im still overly concerned about my health as he gets around . my main concern is hpv due to the cancer worry of course . can i forget about this since i had a normal pap smear months later ? help please

    hpv has a way of clearing it self but you should still have your regular Pap smears every year or how often they recommend. The cancer part is very preventable and curable if you have your regular screenings. Even if there was the beginning of something , It’s very curable because they are able to catch it early through the Pap smears.

    just take care of yourself overall. That builds up a healthy immune system when you eat good foods and stay hydrated.
