HPV health anxiety

Hello,

So I madeout with a girl about a week ago or so and the next day I woke up with a sore throat. Throat has been dry and sort of sore, today I found like a canker sore back there, not on tonsils tho. Does this sound like HPV? All we did was make out so I feel as if the transmission rate would be fairly low?

Hpv warts take months to appear, it's not hpv, see a doctor and he or she will help you.

As I've read, your problem could be caused by an infection you may have received during oral sex. It's possible that your partner may have a sexually transmitted infection (STI) without knowing it, and passed it on to you through fluids exchanged during oral sex. Some STIs are passed more easily during oral sex including herpes and gonorrhea. Yeast infections can also be spread to partners during oral sex. All of these diseases could lead to sore throat, oral lesions and swollen glands. So, ask your girl friend whether she has a vaginal infection, and check with your doctor if your symptom keeps persisting or becomes severe.

    Hi,

    Clam down first.

HPV symptoms usually shown as early as in 2 weeks after the expolour.

And accoding to your post, it is not sounds like HPV.

Keep your eyes on and if anything changed worse or weird, please go to see a doctor.

By the way, HPV vaccinations also could help male to prevent infection.

    Best,

    Hugo

If your encounter gave oral sex in the past to someone who had HPV on a penis or vagina and not know it, it could be passible to you via kissing. Oral HPV grows and remains in the mouth / throat if ever infected.
