HRT and hot flushes

Hi ladies,
Hope you are all well? Haven't posted for a wee while. Apart from my post op issues I'm having issues with hot flushes. Now I'm not sure if they are normal as I had ovaries removed and was immediately put onto elleste solo 2mg. I assumed that 10 weeks the flushes would settle but still getting them really bad. Are any of you the same? Xxx

I am 15 weeks post op and use oestrogel. No hot flushes since using it.
Occasionally I feel hot in the night but the weather is warm just now so just putting it down to that. Hope you get it sorted.

Great to hear from you,how are you feeling?I haven't posted for a while as I thought everything seemed to have gone quiet with a lot of the regular ladies.I am now early 14 weeks post op and am now on 30 hrs a week back at work from this week.I am seeing my dr tomorrow for a check up on my HRT and about my return to work.I quite enjoyed it when I only worked 3-4 hrs a day but I am not far off from being full time again.

Yes I have not been posting as most of us are back to work now and busy. I'm off on two weeks annual leave but not looking forward to increasing my hours. I still feel tired. After my leave I go back on 20 hours a week for two weeks but I'm thinking of handing in my notice as fancy a change. I can't see me going back to full time. Not with BT anyway. My scar sometimes stings too. Do you get that?

My scar doesn't sting but if I stand too long my stomach feels really tight.I feel really bloated still and I have put a lot of weight back on.I do like my food though.I am going on a cruise on Aug 1st for 12 nights and you can eat for 24 hrs if you want to.I am still very conscious with how much i am lifting.I will do this until I am at least 6 months post op.I will check with my dr tomorrow.

Oh a cruise. Where are you going? Me and hubby looking at one but he is a teacher so we can only go on holiday in term time and the ones I saw were in nov and jan. I think I have put on about a stone since op. But I have not been exercising so suppose that's expected.

I didn't have a good start to my day today. My doctors appointment was at 8.50am and when I got there the receptionist said that I didn't have an appointment booked.I explained that my doctor booked it her self and that didn't make a difference.I asked for my doctor to ring my later on.I got told that she finished at midday but I hadn't heard anything back by 3.15pm so I rang my surgery again. They had a message to book me another appointment. The only one that fitted in with my work was July 22nd which I took. She has got a lot of time off this week and she only really works mornings most of the time so it is very difficult to get an appointment with her.I have had a busy day where I have been standing for 4hrs.Tomorrow I am working my first late night again since my op.I will be doing 3.15-9.15 but because I only get a 30 min break I am starting an extra 20 mins earlier to give me another break.
Take care
luv
