HRT symptoms

Hi All, I posted on this site a couple of weeks ago regarding health anxiety and having strange/odd sensation in my left breast. I have been checked out by my doctor and a breast consultant and both have assured me everything is fine I have now been on hrt (Elleste Solo) for nearly 3 months and wondered if anyone has had side effects such as, not painful breasts but just a strange sensation especially only in one breast.

sorry if I am repeating my previous post but just wondered if anyone out there could help.

my health anxiety is slightly better however this strange sensation is still worrying me and is constantly in my head.

Hi Ali, I am on Elleste duet, and feeling like parts of your body are not yours is all part and parcel of this awful transformation. Just because it is only in one breast makes no difference. It can pop up in any part of your body. But the HRT can make your boobs feel more touchy. I usually get it alternating between the two. A good evening primrose oil from your gp may well help. Dont bother buying them you need the major strength ones that only the dr can give you. I think they are called Efamast and you take 8 capsules per day 4 in morning and 4 at night. It will take time but they will kick in and relieve breast pain. Hope this helps you. Big hugs to you.

Hi Tina, thank you so much for your reply to my post, I was getting so anxious about the strange sensation, not pain, but as you put it touchy it is such a strange sensation to describe. I am due to speak to my doctor on Monday and was even thinking of coming off the hrt but will now mention the evening primrose oil. Getting information from others sure does help and stops me from getting severely anxious thinking something is wrong. Hugs to you. X

Believe me Ali, we have all gone through days where we think there is something really serious wrong with us. What you need is a dr you can really talk to. Thankfully I am on first name terms with all the 20 drs at my surgery and over the last 20 something years I have been a patient there I have built up such a good rapport with them all that whatever I want I only need to ask for it and I get it. My own gp is like my younger brother. His own family all emigrated to Canada so I 'm like his older sister and we confide in eachother and medically he would do anything for me so I'm really lucky. I have various body parts that feel odd or achy and it varies from day to day which bothers me. I hate what the hormones have done to my tastebuds everything tastes horrid and I've dropped a stone and a half and still losing because of it. I dont mind the weight loss too much as due to ovary disease and steroids to treat various conditions I have been obese most of my life so at least I have one symptom that I embrace. There are so many of us here all experiencing the same hell so we are all here to help eachother. Hugs to you.😁

    Hi

Not sure if this may help but I have a issue with my left breast also. I have had loads of tests and everything comes back clear. It feels weird and almost heavy if that makes sense.

I feel like a hyprocondriac and like I am wasting doctors time but I have been told all is okay.

Not sure if this will help !

      Hi

thank you. your comment that your left breast feels weird and almost heavy is exactly how mine feels I also feel like I am wasting the drs time and also went to a private breast consultant both confirmed all is okay so I just need to get any other thoughts out of my head and hope things will settle down.
