HSP 8 year old daughter

Hi my daughter has been suffering from HSP since mid March this year and I am getting g worried as over 3 minths on severe vomiting arthritic pain and joint swelling topped off with rash the only thing that gave her life back was steroids. Our dr has dropped them down and this week we finish them so he can monitor her kidney function due to the fact that she has been getting protein and blood +2 in her urine he has said if it worsened after completely coming off the steroids we will be looking at doing a kidney biopsy 😳 I am really nervous my daughter like your children is very bright and athletic and this used to be my worry her missing out but this feels minuscule now that we are talking about biopsies and further action. Has anyone else had a kidney biopsy performed? When does this nightmare end can someone who has seen a light at the end of the rd please reassure me as I am so frightened for my little girl.
