You ever get this figured out? I have been getting these for years. Started on the tongue and off and on get them in the soft palate areas of the mouth. Have had various STD checks and only thing positive was HSV-1, so assumed its chronic oral herpes since it never goes away. Looks exactly the same as what you display in the picture.

i didnt, but 2 nights ago i started getting a fever and now i have a cold (stuffy, watery eyes, etc) maybe that could have something to do with it? this one went away, but i now have another one above my too front tooth up in the crease of my gum. they feel hot when i touch them with ny tongue and only hurt when i touch them.
