hi everyone
I was diagnosed with Genital hsv1 early 2018, I Have not had another outbreak but I would like to know if those of you who have HSV1 can share how far apart your outbreaks are. I have heard various answers, from someone only having her first outbreak once in her lifetime to the websites that state hsv1 can give you an outbreak annually. Please share any info regarding hsv1. I want to read your imputs, etc I dont want to read what one website says because I dont feel like it is as accurate as real life examples.
many thanks

I was diagnosed with hsv1 in July of this year .. I had a super mild second outbreak in October (just tingly sore feeling and a little "cut" looking mark, never turned into a full blown blister) went away in 2- 3 days . I don't take antivirals at all .. this is new to me too so sorry this isn't more helpful 😛 .. of course it effects everyone differently . I hope you're one of the lucky ones that never hears from it again !

hi all
I have a boyfriend whom I DISCLOSED and he said it doesnt matter to him. therefore I DO not take any antisuppresants nor do I USE a condom. we have been having unprotected sex for nearly a year and we have no issues so far.
