i have developed a really large lump above the scar of my THR. It is soft, isn't red or inflamed or hot to touch. it is almost round like a ball ! Any ideas ?

what does the doctor say it is? after 3 THR surgery's i know only enough to comfort many who have been thru this life changing surgery.

Yes I have this I'm 9 weeks post, directly over when the incision is and incision was warm its still there but not as bad, it went down significantly I mostly felt it when lying down on my non-operative side felt like a bowler hat was put over it its just swelling. I've read that it will go down gradually.

in my case the swelling was a hematoma . they take months to level out.
