Huge presentation coming up, please help!!!!!

Hi, I'm new here. So basically I have this huge presentation coming up in May. I have to dress professional and go up on stage with some other group members and speak about my project into a microphone. I'm super nervous about it. I'm the kind of person who gets anxiety when I'm asked to just answer a question out loud in class. And I also have a stuttering problem, so one of my fears is stuttering in front of everyone ): here is what I need help on. I have never taken any type of anxiety medication. But I was wondering that in order to help my anxiety or at least try to, maybe I should take temporary medication to help me out on that day. Do you think they would work? Or does it not even work like that?..like is anxiety medication a long term thing where doctors can't prescribe medication for one day only? Any help would be great!!!! I'm super nervous about this, I get extreme anxiety in these situations.
Thanks!

I understand you, and it must be really stressful to do something like that, but I'm sure you'll be okay. Maybe try some "kalms" I've had them during a panic attack before and they really helped. I'm not an expert but you just need to tell yourself that you'll be okay, and surely everyone else will understand that it's stressful for you.

Hello,
Ask your doctor about propranolol. It's a beta blocker and works to block the adrenal response that causes the majority of the physical anxiety symptoms. (Shakes, palpitations, tremors, dizziness etc)
You can take it at 10mg when needed. I wouldn't have gotten through uni without it! It just provides an amazing sense of calm for around 5/6 hours. I would take 1 or 2 before group presentations or interviews etc. Didn't notice any side effects either.
You can take ad hoc when needed or everyday. It's often prescribed for stage fright.
Hope this helps.

Over the years I have taken part on quite a few speeches and discussions and I find it quite liberating now
If you are on stage the lights will hide the audience, try not looking through the light use the microphone like you are talking to someone in front of you.Geneally most times you can have a crib to push you along a worked out path, this seems to work it just needs key words or phrases
Some people prepare in front of a mirror, so you could try that,
Nothing to worry about. Good Luck
