I havent tried it! But my doctor recently gave me the option to try that too (about 2 months back)

It was either humira or remicade

I chose remicade .. i have had 2 infusions so far 3 weeks apart i do feel a difference the flare ups are less but managable... i have my 3rd infusion end of aug i do feel a difference but keep in mind its not a cure..but it does help..

Hi I recently started taking Humira about seven weeks ago. They say it takes 3-4 months to know if it's working I think I see a little chance of change but don't want to jinx it. I've had HS since 2004 it's been a long road I chose to use Humira as I was told that I could stop Humira where as if I took remix are I couldn't stop taking it and that scared me so I chose Humira. I was scared about the side effects I do have some but are bearable especially if it's going to give me my life back I chose quality of life over quantity lying in bed not being able to walk or sit or have a life this was an easy decision good luck

Hi i have had 2 infusions so far of remicade will go for the 3rd one next week... if u read online about the side effects you do get scared but just remember those are things that can occur over long term...My dr put it to me this way would u rather of 10 years starting now more of a less painfull life or do u want to not try this and continue with this pain i chose this way... it does help.. pain and flare ups are much less but do act up again within a month or month and a half time span so basically just before your next infusion... I have not had any nassau or stomach upsets or anything of that sort... just a bit weak for the first 2 or 3 days after so i stay away from the gym or a very active lifestyle.. other than that it does work!  good luck !

Well everyone is different I have been gaining 2 pounds a week from it nausea, dizziness, really bad mood swings upset stomach sometimes, a lot of joint pain but I also have fibromyalgia so not sure if it's just making it worse or an actual side effect and fatigue. These are just some of the ones I'm going through. And the injection going in burns now I hear that is for everyone. But the side effects are different for everyone some get none. I'm just the unlucky one no change yet but only on it for 8 weeks it takes 3-4 months to kick in so waiting patiently. Some people go on it with no side effects but if it works then it's worth it. I choose quality of life over quantity because I was bed ridden for months at a time not being able to walk so I'm walking and doing things not great but it's something had a flare up but it's manageable. Good luck
