humira timing?

Hello, I will be starting humira next week, and wonder if anyone can share how the drug affects them the first few days? I figured out when to take MTX from a discussion forum & am hoping I can do the same for humira.

I take MTX on a Thursday because I can manage a little nausea at work on Friday and then Saturday... is pretty much a wash from the fatigue. But I typically don't make plans for Saturday so that is okay. Thank God neither of my kids play sports.

Does anyone else try to plan their side effects like this?

    I had no side effects on humira. I always started my shots on a Friday after work in case there were side effects. But never had any with humira. It worked great. I did go off of it because of upper respiratory tract infections but i get them with all the meds so now i am on a daily antibiotic. Good luck. It was the only med that really worked for me.

      Thanks!! I have high hopes because I have heard that it really works. Fingers crossed that this is "the one"!

      Hi, I noticed no difference and eventually needed to off from this because it kept causing my immune system to be compromised, triggering continuous infections which then triggered flares.
