Hydroxy chloroquine

Hi Guys,

Just been put on hydroxy chloroquine for Pallindromic Arthritis. The idea is it will help me to get off the steroids. I also take tramadol for flareups. I have had the symptoms for one year so far

But pretty much in all joints. Interested in your comments re new drug for me!Also doing a Aqua exercise class for the first time today !!!

    Hi Julie, I certainly found the hydroxychloroquine helped my joint pain, was able to cross my legs child style and walk more freely, generally more loose and painfree in the joints, until I started the methotrexate on top, which reversed all those good joint effects.  God knows how these things work or how they interact.  The meth has so not helped my joints, but I need it for my skin, so a difficult trade off.  Give the Hydrox a few weeks and fingers crossed it will help you .
