Hydroxychloroquine

hi, I was prescribed the above about two months ago. About two weeks after starting it my cheeks looked red and swollen and I had an itchy rash under my chin. Stopped taking it and it all cleared up in the following two weeks.
the Rheumy nurse has told me to try it again to make sure it was the cause. Thing is, I've had Sjogrens for about 20 years with the usual dryness, but I cope with eye drops and vaginal lubrication and HRT cream. Apart from the odd tummy troubles, I'm thankfully not in pain and lead a pretty normal life.
im not at all sure if taking hydro chloroquine is worth it for me, as I dread it damaging my eyesight. My Specialist seems to think it may help with my poor sense of taste and smell, which would be great as it's depressing.
Any my advice please as I don't know what to do

thank you you for replying. The specialist told me not to worry about blindness as it's never happened to any of his patients and the 'hydro' means it's watered down. Nevertheless, he said I needed to have regular eye tests. I just don't think I want to risk it so don't think I'll give it another go as don't want the red swollen cheeks or itchy rash under my chin, never mind the chance of damaging my sight no matter how small the risk.

Arthritis is a painful, chronic, musculoskeletal condition that is accompanied by extreme pain, inflammation and stiffness of joint. The ability of oregano oil to penetrate deeply into the skin and reach the joints can bring relief to those suffering from this disease. The wild oregano plant was used by the ancient Greeks for treating various ailments, ranging from simple skin diseases to digestive and respiratory disorders. They used the wild oregano plant, Origanum vulgare, found in their hilltops. It is not the same as the common oregano, Oreganum marjoram, which is used as food spice.
