Hydroxychloroquine Sulphate

Hi guys,

Hope you're as well as can be with this crappy illness!

I have been prescribed today Hydroxychloroquine sulphate alongside my methotrexate.

Just wanted to know how it has affected people? And in particular is the sickness bad? I recently switched to methotrexate injections instead of tablets to control sickness and now i have that under control i don't want to be back at square one!

Any comments or advise would be much appreciated!

    I have been on hydroxychloroquine for 14 years now and have never gotten sick from it. I do have my annual eye exam (looking for a dark pigment resulting from the drug) and he says that in all his years of practice he has never seen a person who has developed this side effect. I also take mtx with it and have never gotten sick from that either.

      Thank you for the reassurance! I've took it the last 6 days and don't appear to have many more side effects than i get from MTX anyway.
