yes! absolutely. i feel that on most days and it tends to make my body feel numb and it feels as if i can feel everything going on in my body. it makes it hard to breathe and i feel every beat of my heart and i notice the slightest thing that is off. it's terrible but your not alone.

Yes, I at my worst can not stand looking at a TV because I am sensitive to light. Sometimes sound becomes super loud. Even smells I like at times are hard to deal with. Very aware of every bodily sense, aches, temperature, dizziness when moving my head and feeling out of breath easily. It's part of the stress response (fight or flight) so that you notice danger approaching. Everything can become heightened and overwhelming.

    Hi heather,

    Yes i can totally relate!

For the past three weeks I've experiencing hyper awareness to the fact that I'm alive and I'm human, I know it sounds weird but it's like every couple of minutes I'm getting "shocks of consciousness" and it freaks me out. Sometimes I feel as if I'm trapped inside my body. It really messes up my day cause its there all the time.

I can also say that there's no point fighting that feeling/thought, the more you fight it, the more potent it will be.

i hope it will pass by its own someday.

Keep me informed if you find a good method of turning that feeling down.

    Best regards
