Hyperactive Cremaster Muscle Reflex

Hey Guys,

I've posted about my experience having a hydrocelectomy surgery. I've had a slight improvement in movement but really nothing to shout home about and I'm still on the 80-week waiting list to see a consultant who will then be able to advise on the next steps to resolve my issue.

I've done a bit of research as to my issue and I came across the term 'retractile testicle' caused by a "hyperactive cremaster muscle reflex". More information about it can be found here and the final two sentences of the first paragraph which has been my issue post-hydrocele operation last year.

I was just wondering if anybody else had had a similar experience or had experience of the microsurgical subinguinal cremaster muscle release" that they'd be willing to share. I'm thinking of contacting my GP to hopefully get an in-person appointment and mention this to him and see what he thinks.
