Hyperparathyroidism

Two weeks ago I had surgery in Tampa for this illness, great place to go, I could barely walk before, pain is almost gone. I wondered if anyone else has diahrrea and feelings that they have to go with urgency, I had this before surgery and I wondered if it will go away as I heal? December 17th, I wound up in the emergency room here in California with severe constipation and a UTI . They gave me morphine because it was so painful. The constipation is gone now but as I have mentioned I am now dealing with diahrrea and I am hoping this has to do with the hyperparathyroidism and that I just need to be patient because it has only been a short time since the surgery. If anyone has experience with this I would appreciate knowing. Thank you Paula
