Hyperthyroidism: Propylthiouracil

Is anyone taking Proylthiouracil (PTU) to treat hyperthyroidism? and if so what are your experiences with this drug? i am hesitant to take it had a bad reaction to carbimazole.

      I started coughing up blood and had really bad joint paint where i could barely walk.

      Yes GP confirmed as i was fine before it only took it for 2 weeks and symptoms went after i stopped taking it

      no I haven't. I do not have an experience of this drug at all. Sorry.
