Hypochondria/Anxiety or Brain Tumor Symptoms?

Hey guys, so lately I’ve been super freaked out. About a week and a half ago, I caught a cold virus that was going around town. It came with pretty severe headaches, but the headaches stayed after the cold went away. I became super dizzy, and I felt faint all the time. I started googling my symptoms and started worrying that I had a malignant brain tumor. I was really scared so I went to the ER twice. The first time, the doctor told me I was fine and that he couldn’t see any obvious neurological problems. I went back the next day after a panic attack, and the new doctor gave me a CT scan with contrast to rule out anything serious. Well, my results came back clean. But I began worrying that maybe the tumor didn’t show up on the CT scan. I’ve heard that has happened before. I’ve been wanting an MRI and I went to my GP yesterday and he said I was probably just anxious. My anxiety has sky rocketed, and I’ve been having a dull headache/sometimes sharp headache on the left side of my head where my ear fills full. I’m getting tons of muscle twitches, and I’ve had a horrible nervous stomach. I feel like in the span of two weeks my quality of life has depleted. Help! What should I do? Should I insist on an MRI?

If the CT scan is fine, then your fine. It would've showed up anything alarming. It didn't. So calm down. It's clearly anxiety lol. Your mind is crowded with consistent, irrational, negative & thoughts. Your catastrophizing. Thinking the worst case scenario. I had the same probable with my heart & im only 16. Went to the er 3 times because i couldn't breathe. Found out it was just acid reflux & anxiety lol. Went to see a cardiologist & it was nothing but 65+ year olds in there. That's how I knew I was overreacting. Do NOT Google your symptoms. Dr. Google is full of inaccurate information. Don't listen to it. Anyone can put anything on the internet. Listen to your doctor. Theyve been to school for so long for a reason. Just like a mechanic knows a car, a doctor knows the body. Distract yourself. Pray. Meditate. Eat healthy. Drink plenty of fluids, excersise. You're okay.

I understand. I still have problems with believing i have a heart problem, an infection, or a brain condition. It's terrible. But you have to stay strong. Especially if you've had tests that prove your okay.
