Hypochondriac with Hidradenitis Suppuritiva

Hello all, I have been dealing with my believed HS for many years now, but was officially diagnosed as of this year when I was younger I had bumps on my groin and button area often, some the size of a marble and some one a golf ball. I had large bumps on my armpits which are now very small bumps, blackheads and scars. As I got older and started developing breasts, which grew to a very large size now generate lots of sweat and heat, causing large puss filled bumps . At one point one got so large it was removed, packed and it hasn't been a bother at all on that breast since. These symptoms I've had over the years have cause me to look at sites that made it seem as if I had other underlying problems which made me into a worrysom patient, a hypochondriac. I currently am getting my large bumps that burst and release pus and it will drain for what seems like weeks. It will go away and come back in the same area. It has a marble under it constantly and seems like it heals but comes back. It really usually is one or two bumps at a time and now it seems my current one is just not letting up. It sometimes itches as for it's trying to heal. It is painful and red, my skin tore around it to break the large bump. Please tell me if this sounds like HS. Doctors have told me it is but sometimes I still can't rest easy thinking it's something else, I have been tested on almost every disease, 3 OBGYN looked at me and a Dermotologist. I have no clue how to ease my mind other than here from others who suffer too.

It certainly sounds like it to me , do you get weeping channels which seep continually? Or small holes in the skin which ooze an scarring , if so these are all symptoms of his? Your dermatologist should be able to confirm it

It makes a hole but it's sometimes hard to tell it's a legit hole it craters and as of recently I had what I thought was a piece of skin that tore and I tried to exfoliate, it then when I came out/off it was a long black head-string like pus that left a hole in my skin next to my larger burst. It is now seeping and the larger one now has a friend about an inch below it that is starting to dome. A dermatologist told me it's HS but all I had were my scars and an end of healing process abscess, when she and the 3 OBGYNS diagnosed me (which is now the one seeping, again.) Thankyou!

So sorry to hear what you're going through. Yes, it definitely sounds like you have HS. See a dermatologist for a diagnosis. You might want to start taking pictures of all the flare up areas to so your doctor as they progress from one stage to another. Best wishes for you.

Hope you got to see your doctor. Monistat always helps me with fungus infections. I think all of us suffering with HS has some kind of anxiety or depression disorders. We all do need to be diligent and stay on top of this disease, after all it's with us all the time.
