Trying to work out whether my digestive complaints begun when I started taking levothyroxine... anyone else experience anything like this? I'm aware theres a link with SIBO & IBS - but just wondering if the medication has had an effect to my stomach issues.

after 5 years of taking tirosint I developed horrible reflux and stomach burning/pain, no meds we helping and was getting bad side effects from them, I switch to armour and the reflux and stomach calmed down a lil, but still a long way to recovery. Armour does not work for me as well as tirosint, but I don't know what to do at this point, I've tried everything available 😦

I was diagnosed with acid reflux disease but come to find out it was do to low thyroid hormone once I was put on the right dosage of thyroid hormone the horrible acid reflux diminished thankfully ..the right dosage does matter and the time you take your levothyroxine matters also .I had read a piece online about taking thyroid medication of a night to keep anything from obsorbing it ..I found this works great I been on levothyroxine little over a year and had my levels tested and they told me my levels were very close to perfection ..
