Hypothyroidism and dizziness

I've recently been diagnosed with borderline hypothyroidism and was curious as to whether it's connected to bouts of dizziness that I get now and again. It'll last for a few seconds and it comes and goes randomly. Is this a symptom of hypothyroidism? Has anyone else experienced something similar? Or is it completely separate?

Yes i get that especially if i bend down, like the other day i was wiping skirting boards and suddenly felt very dizzy and sick had to lie down for a bit. I have had my blood pressure done and hat was fine so it could be thyroid. It is not nice for you, and sometimes it is a bit scary in case you faint, although i never have.

Hi Daisy, dizziness is most commonly caused by fluid in the ear or an inner ear infection.

This is can be caused by swimming or shower and can be exacerbated by neck injury.

The connection is that thyroid disease has also been linked to neck injuries.

My first line if action would be a visit to a good chiropractor plus a dose of swimmer's ear over the counter ear drops.

    Hi daisy mar,

I also suffered bad with this. Along with shortness of breath and lightheadedness.

It took me a while to understand all the symptoms my body was showing before I could really make sense of them. I was so frustrated and had no idea what to do. It really worried me as a young woman when doctors would suggest toxic meds.

I started to research more natural solution and that's when I found Thyroid Yoga with Fern Olivia. She has literally saved my life! No exaggeration. Check out her site thyroid.yoga

    Keep me updated smile
