I had a hysterectomy 6 years ago and was in the ER for muscle strain and they did blood work and it cane back that i was pregnant my HCG was 57

5-50 is 0 to 1 week

50 to 500 is 1-2 weeks

There is no way I could be pregnant as I told her I had a full Hysterectomy 6 years ago so she sent it back and again came out positive. I then had a chest xray and a abdominal catscan . All normal. ALL blood work came back fine. I am honestly freaking out. My anxiety is at its's worse right now. Everything I read mean bad news! Numerous cancers. I go back Monday for a repeat blood test. Any information would be much appreciated. imageimage

I will definitely let you know when or if i find out anything . The positive marker was just 7 points over so I am hoping it wasn't anything.

Poor you. Maybe its to do hormonally. Itll be a imbalance.

If it was cancer other blood tests would determine this.

Hope your ok . Try not to worry. Are you on HRT x

Yes I take Estrogen 5mg. They said that shouldn't make a Positive pregnacy test.

I think 5mg is far too much.. 2mg is highest really. I think may have something to do with that x

I think I might just do away with it. I'm

41 so I think I may be able to handle no hormones. My biggest fear is cancer. I go Monday for a recheck and they want me to have a Colonoscopy. Then they will go from there as to what to do.

Eveything you read online says cancer associated with HCG levels with a full hysterectomy . I havent found one article that explains anything else.

went to my primary care doctor today and I actually cries because I was so scared about the HCG he basically explained that when you are post menapause you still make HCG through your pituitary gland and its especially common in my age 41. He did Schedule me for a colonoscopy for this thursday because of the inflamation. He said all blood work looks good and doesnt see anything in blood work that warrants any other worries. I do go to my obgyn in September so we will get things checked there also.

this sounds so scary.... I just recently was in ER due to abdominal pain. mind you I had my hysterectomy in 2015 robotic it was and been complaining of bowel issues and pain. found out when in ER I had pancreatitis and CT scan and MRI to confirm. what I then read from the CT scan is that I have a uterus and its enlarged. strange cause I had hysterectomy. I called doctor that dis this procedure no return calls. I spoke to OB gyno that received the paperwork and I was there in May they never saw anything. after looking today they want me back to have ultrasound looks like a mass. starting to think if hysterectomy are needed and for other women to get second opinions. best of luck to you. sorry long story

I'm also sorry about what they found on you. I pray its just a growth if anything . They should do a colonoscopy . Please let me know what they say. Even though I don't know you I wish you the best and would like to know you are ok. Us women have to stick together so we can help one another. As for my HCG I went to my OBGYN after my primary doctor fir a second opinion and she is baffled. She did another HCG and then we will go from there if it is still a positive. I'm hoping to get the results tomorrow. Praying for us both.
