Please i need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was assigned a date for the operation, but I doubt very much

I can't get an answer from anyone

if the uterus is removed but the ovaries are retained

will i have symptoms of menopause

Thanks in advance for any information

    Hi

    I've had a full abdominal hysterectomy about a month ago, due to some fibroids that caused pain and swelling, i still have the one ovary.

    I am experiencing sharp and uncomfortable pain on the side where the big fibroid was, this is however the side where I still have the one ovary

    I don't have any pain on the left only on the right hand side

    Any advice please?

    no you wont experience menopause if yiu keep ovaries but they do say you nay go through it earlier than normal.

    within 5 years I've read.
