Hello there

I need some advice on numbness following my surgery of TAH and removal of ovaries. I have no sensation via bladder or bowel, I've had the nurse scan me and the Consultant say it will return but I'm worried about going out! ive already had some really good advice from another part of this website so thought I would ask o

of anyone's experience on here about this.

Think im probably being impatient, I have not experienced any pain no HRT either.

Thanks

Hi think you need to give it time as when I had mine it was painful to go but as time went on it got easier I didn't have any trouble with the bladder when they took the father out it just was a bit painful but went as the weeks went on

Hi there, yeh it is weird at first I must admit, it does cone back but when it does I had really really bad spasms in my bowel and bladder. I'm 5 weeks post op and it defiantly improves Hun just be patient keep up with all your meds, take them on time and take your stool softener and above all rest xxxx
