Hello. I’m 11 days post-op and am suffering from nausea. I’m taking one anti-inflammatory pill a day.  Has anyone experienced this?

    Hello Mary

I'm 14 wks tvh but I didn't suffer with any nausea.

I won't take any painkillers only 2 paracetamol the day of op then I had nothing..

May be you hAve a sensitive tummy or perhaps take them with food.

If it continues try taking paracetamol may be?

Don't worry hun it will be fine.xx

Yes, I had nausea especially in the morning and I didn't take any medication after the first 3 or 4 days. What helped me was an essential oil called digize. I sniffed it and rubbed directly on my stomach. Any peppermint oil may be helpful. Hang in there. It's taken me 8 weeks but I am finally feeling like I'm pretty much back to normal.

Hi Mary, I had a ovary removed about 6 weeks ago (due for a full hysterectomy next week) I was also feeling really nauseous after surgery, prob from day 7 until about 3 weeks after surgery.. my consultant told me it can sometimes be the anaesthetic still leaving you system but it does eventually go away- I got anti nausea tablets and they helped lots- hope you feel better soon!
