hysterology

Hi ladies

I had a hysterology and D&C on the 14th June, the consultant thought they had torn my uterus so they kept me in. I am 6 days on & still sore & have right side pain, I don't get results until July 6th. I was told they took a large scraping for investigation, due to thickening around uterus measuring 5.5mm. I can not stand the pains in my side & around the middle pelvic area, I've had D&C before but never has it taken this long to get better. I feel like I have, been kicked down there, so bruised its horrible. I'm not bleeding now at all.

Does anyone have any experience in this. I could do with any advice ladies.

Thank you.

God bless.

Thank you Caroline that is great help, so many people keep saying they were back to normal in 48 hours so I was getting really upset thinking something awful was wrong especially after the consultant saying they thought they had ripped my uterus removing a little polyp, then they put me on a course of antibiotics just in case an infection had set in. Its been an awful experience & now I have to wait for the results to confirm if I need a hysterectomy or not. To be honest I really don't want to have surgery ever again, I found it so frightening & now still so painful & in comparison to a hysterectomy the hysterology is minor. Thank you again hun. God bless.
